Hi, I’m Petia, a UX designer who cares about creating thoughtful, user-centered designs and making complex systems feel simple and clear.
Outside of work, I like to keep life interesting! Over the years I’ve tried ice skating, sabre fencing, and now I’m happily learning Bulgarian folk dancing. I also love watercolor painting,  it’s my way to slow down and do something away from the screen.
I volunteer at a dog shelter, where I adopted a German Shepherd mix who now keeps company to our ginger corgi Koda. I also run the shelter’s website and social media, taking photos and videos to help the dogs find homes, encourage volunteering, and show how special shelter dogs really are. I believe empathy, not just beaut,  is what will make the world better.
When I’m not designing or walking the dogs, you can find me in the garden, taking care of flowers or trying (and sometimes failing) to grow vegetables. I enjoy meeting people, hearing their stories, and seeing the world from different perspectives.
